Here are five photos that represent types of framing.
| This photo frames the objects on the shelf and keeps them in focus |
| This photo is mostly curved and sharp lines created a complex frame for different objects of focus. |
| There is a circular frame surrounding the made focus which is the coins in the jar. |
| I tried to capture a photo with the peep hole framing the view but it is more difficult than I thought. I still think this photo is really cool because of the different circle frames surrounding a pretty blurry picture, but focused enough that you can see a rectangular frame around the door. |
| There are a bunch of different lines in this photo. I think there is a frame for the table arm in the center, and a narrow frame for the carpet in the background. I felt the need to include this one because I do not think it is an obvious frame. |
Cool photos. I like the peephole one, even with the blurryness. It almost looks like a tunnel.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jami, the peephole is a fun shot. The blurriness makes in almost mysterious or spooky.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jami and Meredith about the peephole shot looking really cool and maybe a tad bit spooky. Isn't it amazing in your rule of thirds photo how much of a difference it makes with that pot centered vs off to the side? You pick out details that may not of been seen before.
ReplyDeleteThese are excellent examples of framing. I really like the concept of the last photograph. What will make this more effective is if you get the carpet in focus and then move the camera to the position that you need to frame it. I really like this photograph, for the same reasons that you stated. There are a lot of lines and there are a lot of frames within frames…
